Unveiling Our New Direct Funerals & Cremations Range

Posted on 22 March 2024

In the 1960’s less that 5% of people chose to be cremated, but today over half of all funerals in the UK are cremations. This growth in popularity might have happened a variety of reasons, a change in attitude towards environmentalism, a change in religious mentality or purely economic decisions.

In recent years we have seen a growth in direct cremations, from 3% in 2019 to 20% in 2023[1] stemming from the restrictions during the COVID epidemic. Whilst traditional funeral services are held within 1-2 weeks[2], a direct cremation allows a family to pay their respects at a time that is convenient to them. This flexibility has remained a motivating factor in end-of-life choices for many.

We have introduced our new Direct Funerals range to allow families the option to choose a service that suits their needs for flexibility and cost-efficiency.

Our Direct Funeral range offers a simple yet beautiful way to honour your loved one.
