Here at J C Walwyns, we are proud to say we value all of our hardworking team across all areas of our business and we truly understand the importance of home-grown timber! That’s why when members of our team reach milestones in their career with us, it only seems right that they are rewarded to show our appreciation.In the past couple of weeks some of the team members have reached some notable milestones of their time with us so far at J C Walwyn & Sons.

Andrew Morley Celebrates 40 Years!

The 10^th April 2025 marked the 40^th anniversary of Andrew Morley’s. Andrew started working with us back in 1985; since then, his he has grown and will continue to grow as an integral member of the JCW family. His dedication and hard work as not gone unnoticed and, as a business, we are so grateful for all the expertise and knowledge that Andrew brings. To show our appreciation Andrew has be gifted with an engraved tankard to signify his fantastic and continued achievements with us.

Barry Rushton Celebrates 25 Years!

On the 30^th May 2025 Barry Rushton celebrated his 25^th year working at J C Walwyn & Sons. Barry joined us back in the millennium and was part of the initial staff that completed the move into a purpose-built factory.

Barry commented:
‘ I really do enjoy my job…Its great to have a local job for a family business who care about their employees. I don’t know where the 25 years have gone!’

Barry has been and will continue to be an asset to JCW with a great work ethic and his second-to-none quality and attention to detail. As a token of our appreciation – Barry was presented with a silver designer watch to celebrate his 25 years. We can’t wait to see how Barry continues to grow here at JCW.
